Stallion Service Contract
This contract made by and between Spotted Cypress Ranch and (owner of mare/purchaser) for the sole Purpose of breeding the said mare __________________________________________

A non-refundable booking fee of $50.00 to be payable at the time of this contract and the balance due prior to the mare arriving to be covered. If breeding via shipped semen negotiated by owner private treaty.

ALL FEES MUST BE PAID BEFORE COVERING OF MARE OR SHIPPING OF SEMEN RESERVATION FOR ARRIVAL OF MARE OR ANTICIPATED SHIPMENT: Mare owner requests following month for breeding: _______________________

A.) Photostatic copy of registration papers (both sides) should be attached to breeding contract. 

B.) LIVE FOAL GUARANTEE: Live foal means the foal shall stand and nurse ( 48 hrs). It is understood that if the mare proves barren , aborts her foal or if the foal is still-born, a breeding will be guaranteed the following year only, providing notification is given . Proper notification shall be defined as follows: Written certification by a licensed veterinarian within seven days that mare has slipped or produced a non-viable foal. Mare owner certifies that such abortion or death did not result from any omission of the mare owner subsequent to the mare’s departure from farm. Rebreed privileges extended beyond the following year shall be subject to an additional fee. In ALL cases the farm’s timely receipt of veterinary certificate is a precedent to any right of return. A negative intrauterine culture is required prior to mare’s return for service. 

C.) REFUND OF FEES :
This contract shall be null and void and the mare owner shall be entitled to a refund of Stallion Service Fee if the Stallion should die or become unfit for service prior to servicing the mare in the present breeding season. Or if the above named mare dies during the breeding season then the Mare owner may substitute another mare with prior written permission from the Stallion owner.

D.) BREEDERS CERTIFICATE: 
A breeder’s certificate will be issued to the mare owner after all expenses have been paid in full and upon notification of birth of live foal.

E.) NON-ASSIGNMENT:
This contract cannot be assigned or transferred by Mare Owner. If the mare is sold or transferred after having been serviced by the Stallion,there shall be no right of return to the Stallion without the express

F.) BINDING CONTRACT:
When the above named mare Owner signs and returns one copy of this contract to the Breeder,it will then be a binding contract on both parties. Subject to the terms and conditions stated. This contract is not valid unless completed in FULL.
